There’s many conferences and unconferences that are dealing with many technical, tactical issues. And these are all good, but the key question is one that vexes those trying to pick the right horse, isn’t it?

SF Bay Ventures is proud to announce a program from one of our portfolio companies. It is called Startup Epicenter and the first will be a zinger. Quickly learn how to grasp the new media realities from experts in the field and those who are funding them. Blended together, these workshops should offer an exhilirating program designed to help those prepare for the fun yet uniquely challenging and sometimes exhausting demands of the entrepreneurial storyline. Whether you’re investing A or B rounds or seeking your first Angel investments.

FYI: The program on March 29 starts at 2 in the afternoon, which leaves your morning free to attend the Compelling Demos Workshop that our Partner, SK Murphy, is presenting with Peter Cohan of the Second Derivative.  We’re jazzed that he’s onboard!

It’s a rolling admissions process that started yesterday, March 2nd.

The almost always increasing attendance since last October is quite heartening indeed! We have the five Startup-U sites, but we will start to consolidate these down to three most likely. There are also new programs that may come online including SVASE BIGs, and other programs with partners such as Plug & Play in Sunnyvale and others that we can’t mention yet.
